Current students, alumni, and adcom if possible as soon as possible. There are several schools that ask directly about your engagement with the school so it’s important that you attend events and try to utilize student ambassadors if possible if you don’t have a heavy network of alumni at your firm. It also helps shape your “why this school?” answer

Do these happen? Would be hard pressed to see how this is possible given app volumes !
You definitely need to do that! Attend their online or in person event, meet with Adcom, alum current student, don’t just stop there, follow up, have one on one discussion, share with them your updates etc! It will make your process much smoother! I wish I knew about these before, good luck!
Most schools want to know why MBA? why now? and why THEIR program. To answer these questions in a meaningful way you need to understand what resources each school offers that align with your goals and areas for development. The best way to figure this out is to have conversations with students and alumni.
