Hi Fishes, I have received an offer from Barclays for AVP position. But the role discussed during interview was for Tech Delivery Manager whereas the offer letter mentions it as Tech Delivery Lead. Can you guys please suggest if it is the same role or should I request recruiter to get the role updated? Moreover it would be great if any of you can shed some light on the prospects/challenges of this role based on your experiences. Barclays Barclays global service center

Only you can make that decision. I say get your BSN paid for and then do it. There are plenty of places that will pay for it and then you can do both.
I find that finishing degrees gets harder with age. I got my MSN shortly after my BSN and I couldn’t imagine going back to school and getting my MSN now at the age of 45.
I just retired after 4 to 7 years of nursing. I was advised to get my BSN when I was in my 50s. I did it online and it was probably the best decision I made. I encouraged you to start it do it online and get it done because the longer you put it off the less likely you’re going to want to do it. Nursing is an excellent career. I know we all complain about some of the duties we have to do. it’s a job that you clock in and you clock out and there’s no paperwork when you get home. There are so many things you can do with nursing as you know go for it and get your BSN. You’ll never regret it.
Not a right or wrong answer here. Try starting with one class and see how that fits in with your work schedule. Most are going to BSN in around 3 years.
Try online class and see how it goes
I did South University online and it wasn’t hard. They don’t have all those sciences and other electives check it out
Do it now
If you do it, see if your job will pay for it.!
Get it now before you become obsolete. And get your MSN. Try to find a program that offers BSN into Masters
