Hi Fishes,
Can anyone please give a genuine insight into the frontend developer interview process for experienced candidates in Apple?
Do everyone irrespective of their experience needs to prepare for DSA? Or they just want the frontend developer to be proficient in HTML, CSS and JS just like they mention in JD. And also do they consider people from Tier 3 colleges?

Who cares what someone from big 4 thinks?
Why do you care about what people at other firms think?
Not in tax but you’re just as talented as your peers regardless of market
We don’t respect big four pricks either
I feel like you’re projecting a little.
There are some B4 hardos but we serve totally different types of clients. Another caveat is that I don’t deal with the more complex work B4 sees day to day.
You can choose to place value on what people you don't know are saying on social media and that's your choice.
My unsolicited advice is to take the negative comments and any perceptions they may create with a grain of salt (including mine if you choose).
Social media sites are full of 'keyboard warriors' who like to puff themselves up by their posts because it simply makes them feel good about themselves.
Those people likely don't know what you know and haven't experienced what you've experienced, so you should ask yourself if their opinion is REALLY that valid or are you giving them more much credit than they deserve?
It's all about getting the target market right. All Big4s have their "private client or middle market" tax practices and the people who work there have pretty much the same clients and skillsets. In fact, these middle market practices often than not poach their staff from the mid tier firms.
However, if you are talking about hardcore corporate and international tax or M&A serving the larger end of the town, then the Big4 tax practices do command a significant advantage in that sector.
I mean I feel like I do way more deal work than the average big 4 income tax manager. I’ve had likely 30-40 deals take place for my clients on the buy and sell side and I was heavily involved in sell
Side prep and buy side diligence.
Sounds like you are a master of none then. Maybe that’s why.
How is that what you pull out of that? I manage clients that result in $1.7m in revenue. They go through different things and we need to address them. I’m the federal income tax expert and I’m expected to project manage anything that comes up for the client account as it relates to my clients, which means I’ve seen everything under the sun at this point, but corporate and partnership income tax reporting is my primary focus. I’ve had to engage in both buy and sell side diligence for clients over the years as well as corporate restructuring, executive compensation design, transfer pricing & international tax issues and even a couple state audits along the way.
