Looking for an opportunity in Mainframe development and modernization. Have experience of 8 years in COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL. Have knowledge on Mainframe SAS, EASYTRIEVE, FILE-AID ENDEVOR CHANGEMAN CONTROL-M.

I work in quant and rely on our company’s database for everydays task, but couldn’t get any support from the company’s tech/data team. It’s been such a struggle. Everyday im fighting with red tapes and firewalls. :(

People who don’t submit their time daily, how do you remember what you did and for how long? I’ve always just submitted each timer as soon as I finish a task—“call with x re y” really doesn’t take that long even if I’m busy, and if I don’t do it immediately I’ll forget all those little I did in the morning by the time I go to bed. No shade at all to those with different systems, just genuinely curious because I see a lot about catching up at month end on here and I have no idea how that works??
