Just a reminder that one day, your future self will thank you. Eventually, you’ll be in a job you love. You’ll be learning, growing, and feeling valued. And you'll look back at this time in your life at the version of you who kept going, even when it was tough, and you'll thank yourself for continuing to improve and persevere.

I needed to hear this. Thank you!

We all do sometimes! We are here to encourage each other.

Needed this today for sure. Feeling discouraged and overwhelmed. This is just temporary and I know there will be better things to come. Just a matter of understanding that sometimes things are bad, and just like many times before, they will get better again!

We all get like that sometimes, there is no shame in getting discouraged when in a tough situation. But you are right, it is only temporary and whatever comes next will be that much better.

I also needed to hear this and I really do think this is true. One day this will all be water under the bridge.

Exactly! It won't be long before we will look back on this time as a memory.

Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter, to be approved by L4), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa. After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).

I don't have any other offer as of now. What should I do?

The severance package at Meta for laid off employees almost makes it nice to be laid off depending on what your personal situation is….. personally wouldn’t mind getting 4+ months of full pay to reset and think about what’s next 😬

Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. It’s like they don’t know what to say or I make them feel awkward so they don’t bother…I’m trying to focus on a few that have been supportive but it’s hard…Any words of advice? 😞
