Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

I joined EY in January. Had no work all of January, but was busy for February and some of March. What can I do with my 3 year experience at big 4, if I exit now? My aim was to always hit 6 figures after 5 years of work but I can’t stand the big 4 workload and stress levels that much longer. Always willing to work hard and long hours. But that is spilling over into Saturday and Sunday’s. My mind does not rest. Persevere or start looking elsewhere?

Anyone from EY-Parthenon, what does a typical senior consultant look like resume/experience wise? If I have audit and FDD experience as a Senior for 3 years (currently in FDD), a CPA, no MBA, is that enough to get in to EY-P? Or is the MBA basically required? What would I be missing? Thanks!
