Just accepted an SA role with KPMG at a little over 5 YOE. When considering promotions, does KPMG account for one’s previous experience before arriving at the firm or would it be as if I were just promoted from A to SA (and would have to stay as SA for a few years)?

If interviewing at an organization that has different locations (with different MDs/Partners) for the same position do you apply to only one or should you apply to each office you have interest in? Interviewing for a director level position in one location but there is a senior director level position that fits my skill set in another office location.

I’m an accounting advisory M2 in Los Angeles and hoping to find a position around $150k in industry. However a recruiter said that’s too high and I should be looking more around $130-140k, I can’t tell though if she’s being honest or just hoping I’ll take a smaller salary so that she can get an easier commission.
