Hi Everyone !!!
This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.

lol I thought this same thing, I think they’re smart, hard working and fully capable but I think there are a lot of Indian partners as well that also have a bias towards hiring their own.
Every race / culture , etc. is going to have a bias toward their own. Some more strong than others. But as much as we hate to admit it people hire people that they are similar to them
Because Indian men hire more Indian men. Generally very s&ist and r@sist has been my experience with most.
True
Because they not only Strategy but also &
Strategy& recruits heavily from top STEM and MBA programs where Indian-origin candidates are well represented, and many also have strong quantitative, engineering, and strategy backgrounds that fit the work.
When I was in uni half the Indians cheated
Because they’re smart and can think ahead… btw I’m not Indian but I see how forward thinking they are so this based on personal interactions with them
This is just a reflection of the types of people your company hires.
Corporate structure is very similar to their caste system and it sets them up for success in those roles.
Caste*
Not just Strategy&, Deloitte is full of Indians too.
The Indian consulting model competes on price, while bringing in as many people as possible. That has worked well for the last couple of decades. But not anymore. Clients want higher quality with fewer resources. The tide is turning. However Indians have control of most American companies- so whites are being axed instead at record numbers - both in consulting as well as industry.
So white are more quality than Indians? Lol
We are everywhere!
Because The banking rejects have to go somewhere? Jk jk
Are you referring to high count of S& Indian partners? Or staff level?
The firm has a very heavy quant leave compared to other strategy shops, which results in a lot of STEM recruiting and therefore Indians
While that may explain recruiting, hiring doesn’t show stem. I’ve worked with a lot of big4 Indians who are poor performers all around. Definitely a bias imho
