B4 and Accenture are their own bucket (maybe a T2.5 due to size)
T3: Boutique strategy firms (incl. OC&C, Simon-Kutchers at the top end of that)
^This is a UK/Europe perspective. The reason why B4 is higher than T3 is just the brand and size.
So it’s MBB -> Kearney, Alix, (who else?) -> Big 4 -> Accenture?

Yes in consulti g. Big4 is such a misleading term dont even know why we even use it advisory/consulting. I personally believe there is bigger gap between T2 and B4 than MBB and T2. Now, in terms if brand awareness more ppl know B4 because B4 offers more services but pure strategy/management consulting, MBB … T2 …… B4.
Agreed with the above. Moving Big 4 to a T2 will be a big bump in pay + speed of increases…but also a big bump in hours, stress, and likelihood of being asked to leave at some point. It’s a trade off.m
In contrast, T2 to MBB is similar comp, hours, etc.
