Just got a promotion to lvl 2, no new responsibilities and actively applying to jobs.
Should I add a line to my resume showing the time prior as lvl1 and March 2022 - Present being Lvl 2 or Should I just adjust my title since responsibilities are the same?

Change the title, don't minimize yourself on a resume. When, in the interview, they ask for more detail, then you can share.

One of my friends (sap functional consultant, yoe 9 yrs. ) got an offer from SAP India ( Business Process consultant) , currently working for Deloitte USI as a sr. consultant(on the verge of promotion). hike offered is < 20% , is this a good offer to go ahead with?

I’ve had four interviews in the past week, and I’ve noticed that HMs and recruiters aren’t as serious as they should be: 1. They got up in the middle of the interview to answer the door. 2. Biting their nails throughout the entire interview while working on something else. 3. Mentioned that I need to be available 24/7 and can only offer a title less than I currently am because they don’t have a high budget. Is there anything that I can do stop this? Maybe consider another industry?

The conversation with the girl on the team went well and told me how excited the hiring manager is and called her right away…. I email the recruiter to ask about next steps and nothing……

Does getting referrals at a company like Meta help with landing an interview or getting seen by HR? I have 2 referrals submitted this past week for a position I really want and I know I’m qualified for. But I’ve never had a corporate position before, so I’m not sure how this goes. Asking for anyone that’s been through the ropes in this. Yes I’m aware there is a hiring freeze. But this position they are hiring and bringing someone on before the end of the year.

My remit quadrupled+ in a recent re-org with no increase in pay/promotion, my new director is new to the company and was zero help, and I was passed over for recent promotion during the comp cycle. The new director essentially began shutting me down any time I ask for clarity in my career progression. Now they have taken credit for the project I’ve been building over the past year+ without giving me props whatsoever to higher ups. What is the best plan of action here?

Is interviewing still insanely hard for anyone else? Before COVID, I found getting a corporate job/startup/tech job insanely hard to land despite their being all these vacant jobs and people quitting like flies. I’m finding employers are doubling down on the same power tripping nonsense they did before COVID despite me having several more years of successful experience. It’s funny because I find landing a job much easier in other industries and those industries pay pretty much the same as tech.
