Is this pesos?

They are going to use 15 dehumidifiers and 75 fans? Or is that going to run for like 5 days.

You can rent a lot of that stuff at Home Depot. The large industrial dehumidifiers are around $350/week.

If not home depot you could always try places like sunbelt or united rentals. They typically will work with homeowners.
Are you not going through your insurance?
Almost $4k just for a dehumidifier and fans???
Every water claim I see I feel like is outrageous. Couldn't hurt to get another quote but water issues are the worst.
Lol. You have to ask this? Are you this out of touch?
They always overcharge with the assumption that the bill is paid by insurance, if your paying out of pocket, let them know ahead of time or get multiple quotes.
What I would do is get over there ASAP and get that carpet out. It’s like a sponge that will turn to foul smell. Scrounge up every fan you can and run it. Get the big fans if you can rent. Open doors and windows. You could mop the area with bleach and water. Every day counts, mold remediation is even more expensive. If you get lucky it’s a few days of that and pay for a new flooring install. I had this happen once. I just had to pay for a new carpet install. In my case a pipe burst and the basement carpet was soaked. I fumbled around with a shop vac, then it started smelling. There was no saving old wet carpet. If it’s insurance they’ll call in specialists and do the same.
i mean usually its 3 days of drying and depending how many rooms it looks like theyre placing 5 dehumidifiers for the standard 3 days im assuming but theyre placing xl dehus they could just place normal sized dehus which would bring down the cost to 80 ea day then the fans it looks like 25 fans for 3 days which the cost is right assuming you have multiple rooms
plus its cat 3 water its easy to charge more than that the least that job should run you is 6k
I would buy a good shop vac, rent dehumidifiers from homedepot/lowes & hire 2 guys at $20/hr to do heavy lifting (removing carpet etc)
Insurance should still pay you if you are doing it yourself, check with them.
The reason these quotes are crazy is because the contractors assume insurance will pay for it. I had a similar quote for a pipe burst a few years ago. Look for a handyman or task rabbit that can manage this,it shouldn't be difficult to dry out.
