Just moved to Charlotte and I'm excited to get to know the local craft beer scene. I'm starting with this list, but I'm looking for a little more insight before I just start driving around. Would love to hear your thoughts - which ones are good for dinner? Which ones are good for late nights? Do any have live music?

My favorite is Heist Brewery barrel and arts, as long as they don’t have an event it’s super chill there and laid back. Big outdoor space too which I’m looking forward to enjoying in the fall. Southern tier has a lot of food options. Sycamore is definitely the place to bring a group of friends especially if you are more yuppie. OMB is a big space too but seems like the spot for young families to hang out. Hi-wire is a chain but is our go to spot for playing games while drinking. We recently moved here too and these were the ones we’ve taken a liking to so far. There are tons more as you can see so have fun and join untapped to figure out the good beers!

There is a collection of breweries at 4001 Yancey that all pretty good. My friend and I have been to a couple of them. I think there are like 6 of them all right next to each other there.
