Just if d the cheapest place you can reasonably be comfortable in. Pay off your debt and start saving now
Do the*
You could go up to 2k with rent and bills included and still be comfortable, but obviously paying less will free up money to save, travel etc

Better be using that sign on to pay off your loans
Don’t go over 1200. Will be a challenge but get yourself in the black before you get something nice
C1 - where in Murray hill to you live? I can DM you if you’d rather! Looking for a place after my lease ends
I would put the sign on into your credit card debt as that needs to be paid of ASAP. I would try to stick under 2k for a room which, if you’re willing to get roommates, is more than enough for a nice place in a decent area.
Assuming you’re older do 2200-$2400 for a studio. Use your signing to pay off you’re CC debt and cover the security deposit
I’d go $1750-2000. Ideally 1-2 roommates to get a bit more shared space (studios/1BRs are tough to find in good locations at that price point).
Pay off the credit card debt ASAP
No I was including myself in the group of panicked lol
30% rule I guess
Pay off the credit card debt immediately
Please
Let’s say I pay off these loans, what would be reasonable on this salary?
OP, age/experience/title?
26, 5yoe, C level
Depending on how much travel you do. I would go cheaper and get some room mates.

I make around the same amount and my individual rent is $1850 plus I have one roommate who pays 1750 for their room. I still get to travel and put money away into my savings on a monthly basis. I could probably go even higher by $100-200 and still maintain a very comfortable lifestyle
Where do you live?
Also consider going outside of Manhattan for better value if you're doing heavy travel: lots of options in LIC, Downtown BK, or even Jersey City for the tax savings
You make freaking $138k and you have 15k in loans...do the math...become debt free and then you can spend 2k a year on a spot 🤦🏾♂️
