Hi all! I'm a fresher, a 2021 IT graduate, currently working as an analyst at Deloitte USI. After spending close to a year in a maintenance project, I'm looking to switch projects. What would you do? I was laid off and now have two directions:
1) Back to old job in industry with security and knowing what I’m getting/how to do the job well/job security but $15k reduction in salary plus nominal API still working 60+ hrs a week...
2) Consulting again at big 4 but don’t know team and threat of unpredictability/more layoffs but $25k increase in salary.
Frankly feeling torn. Also, yes, I realize how great it is to have options these days.
