Anyone here from Barclays finance/investment banking domains. Since most of the roles and packages discussed here are for technology/IT related. If anyone from finance background could share, whats the package Barclays offers for BA4 level in finance for anyone with 6-7 years of experience? Barclays, Barclays global service center
Thoughts??
Also, what do you prefer WFH or WFO?

Basic is the most fun you will never want to have again. You will def have the “why am I here” moment as well as the “this sucks I want to quit moment”. Just remember to take nothing personal. The quickest way through is to graduate. We had two individuals that quit on night one and they were STILL holdovers in medical when we graduated. Beat advice I can give you is this: be in the right place at the right time in the right uniform. Break your day down into goals. I broke mine down according to our chow schedule. PT sucked early n cold but I always looked forward to breakfast, then to lunch and evening chow. Before you know it the day is over. Start getting into shape now before you ship. Good luck!
What MOS did you sign up for?
i feel ya. i’m joining in a few years. i’m just worried that basic won’t go how i expect it
Basic trainings a lot of fun. Everything the DS do they do for a reason so listen carefully and be fully invested.
The hardest part is breaking bad habits and getting physically fit so if you have no “bad” habits (smoking, alcohol, caffeine) then you’re already half way there. Start getting up early and going to the gym since that’s what you will do everyday you’re there. Always be accountable for your gear (do not lend anyone anything, you own it) message me on Insta for more “Savoyuncaged”
Just stand tall, keep your head up, follow orders to the letter.
Yes, your life is about to be turned upside down, but everything that you are about to experience throughout your basic training, will all pay off when you are standing on the parade grounds on graduation day.
Many have gone before you, and they all know that pride.
I graduated basic in august and ait in November so I’m pretty much fresh out.
It’s really not bad. The hardest part is the time away, which you’ll get used to after a few weeks. You’ll make lots of new friends and you will have so much fun.
Honestly man you got it, easiest stuff ever. They tell you what to do, what to wear, and when & where you should be. Just listen and follow the rules and you’ll do fine.
^agree with above. It’s a pump, not a filter, so if you want to succeed you can. Focus on running and pushups for conditioning, but don’t neglect supporting muscles, and develop good form. Countless people get long term injuries during bootcamp, don’t become a statistic. Injury prevention is the mission, and if something doesn’t feel right, don’t be afraid of going to medical, and trust your body. They may think you’re trying to get out of stuff, but your health is #1.
Fun wen you meet your military friends
It’s summer camp now you’ll be fine
Basic training is easy when you think about it. Do exactly what you’re told to do, focus on what you need to do. Don’t count down the days, just wait for your next meal and next thing you know you’ll be at graduation
LMAO, It’s not Basic Training anymore, it’s summer camp. You’ll be fine.
It’s a mind game you’ll be ok!
Basic training is the easiest thing you’ll do in the Army. It’ll seem hard at the time but just wait til you get to your first duty station. Then the real fuckery begins.
