The best thing about being stationed abroad was that I got to meet new cultures I never thought I’d see.

It is totally a way of doing tourism without spending a lot, also you have no other choice but to learn and live together.

When I didn't have children I loved when these things happened once I was stationed in Bali, it was for more than 2 months, I learned a lot being there, and well now that I have children I would like to go back there with my wife.

I had to stay in Morocco for 13 months, I learned part of the language, I learned about horse racing and I began to understand and respect their culture much more.

It is the best thing about being parked, as long as you do not have a family waiting for you, it is a good option to see the world because being stationed in any country is a win-win.

I would like to do an exercise in this post, tell me in which countries have you been stationed and what is the time?

Same here! I loved getting to know new cultures and learning about their customs. It was really interesting to see how other people live and I enjoyed being able to experience their way of life.

This was my favorite part of being in the military. I absolutely loved getting to know new cultures and seeing how they lived. It was an amazing experience and I feel so lucky that I got to do it.

To me it was amazing being able to see things that I never thought I would see and experience different ways of life. Every day, I felt like I was learning something new and it was a really fulfilling experience.

I remember when I first got to South Korea. Deep down I've always liked kpop and of course no one in my field knows about this, but in my off time I would go visit the different companies and such. If I hadn't gotten into the military, I wouldn't have been able to see this, at least not for a long time while saving money.

I enjoyed the five star hotels after transitioning to be a Foreign Area Officer!
