I mean, the rollover part isn't scummy, they're waiving the disposition/end of term/etc fees, so that part is legit.
The rest is BS, though.
They had multiple deals advertised online that upon arrival they claimed were subject to additional terms and fees not made clear in the advertisement. So typical bait and switch. Basically advertised “$400/m with $4000 down and $4997 due at signing” but then came back with $700/m with $6000 due at signing because they apparently have extra fees in the advertised deal. Also, “if you have a year or less left of your lease we will get you out of it early with no penalties or fees” = “we’ll rollover the remaining payments into a new lease so you’ll still pay for that 12 or less months just to us instead.”
The funny thing about leasehackr is it’s one of the times where paying them to get it done for you is actually worth the money. Have seen some real solid deals from them

Never put any money down on a lease. Find the MF and residuals and figure out the best lease deal yourself. Don’t let them sell you on a monthly payment.
All ears. What happened
Use a broker to handle all of this. They’re free and will do better than 90% of people who negotiate themselves.
Rising Star
Was a broker.
Charged people for the same deal they could get on their own.
Brokers don’t save you money; they save you time and headache. They cost you money.

Honda, Toyota, and Hyundai dealerships can be so scummy.
