Apparently it needs to be an employee within Canada as I tried to get a referral from someone in the US and it was a separate HR system - hence it did not have access to the specific role I wanted. I am currently working in big4 audit as a manager (20 LPA CTC), my wife is in a tax role in diff big 4, same CTC.

We have a Canada PR but are not getting jobs from here so will have to go there and apply. Average salary will be around CAD 80000-85000.

I have a job offer in NZ for 85000 NZD. My wife will be able to work, but will have to go there and find a job.

We are confused what to do, as she feels it will be harder to get a tax job in NZ. Looking for any advice.

The only way I know to do that is a Certificate of Good Standing, which I can’t get in a day. Other ideas? I’m going to be making an exit soon to a company that’s working hard to recruit me in. I’m in an AE position. I’d be forfeiting $18k in RSUs vesting, President’s club, and $200k+ in pipeline if I do move. I’m inclined to leave because this would be a step up in a role and I really like the team.

KPMG 🇨🇦 , looking to get your perspective here: Just saw two roles in the Montreal Office, which I think I’d be a good fit based on my background. However, (i) I don’t speak French (it’s not stated as a requirement but I suppose there’s likely a preference for French speakers (ii) Have never lived in Montreal before and I am wondering if it’ll be worth a move from Toronto and (iii) If I even have a chance to come in at Manager level considering I have no prior consulting experience.
