I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.

Stress is causing a massive flare-up of racing thoughts recently. I feel like it's been at least a week or two since I last was able to completely clear my mind. Fishes, I have a job title question. Does it matter if a role is in the same project with different titles? Example: SA, State and Local, Researcher vs SA, State and Local, Business Analyst. The job description makes it sound like they are the same project. However, Business Analyst does have more requirements/qualifications listed than Researcher. I’m coming from industry (3 YOE). KPMG 🇨🇦 , looking to get your perspective here: Just saw two roles in the Montreal Office, which I think I’d be a good fit based on my background. However, (i) I don’t speak French (it’s not stated as a requirement but I suppose there’s likely a preference for French speakers (ii) Have never lived in Montreal before and I am wondering if it’ll be worth a move from Toronto and (iii) If I even have a chance to come in at Manager level considering I have no prior consulting experience.
