I currently design plumbing, HVAC, and Fire Protection. I'm the only one in the company performing Hydraulic calculations for fire protection. In the company I am the most proficient in using Revit software and have been assigned as the BIM Manager for any problems involving Revit. I’ve always had a full time job (10 years) and I recently took a job as a contractor/consultant for a bank. It’s a 40 hour week hourly job. Is this considered freelance? I read the other posts and I see people are double dipping taking on multiple contracts, is there other work out there that I can layer onto this job in the off hours?
