Drop that “friend” asap. Don’t dermaplane or shave it. It’s a made up problem that no one gives a sht about. The person who brought it up is clearly insecure going through something.

That’s not a friend. Body hair is natural especially at the nape of the neck where it connect to your hairline?? Like seriously that person needs to grow up. This is just someone being insecure and projecting onto you.
Sounds like these “friends” are the problem, not your hair!
I can’t believe some of yall are really in a tizzy about this. I’d want someone to tell me if my peach fuzz was getting wild in the same way I’d want them to tell me I have something in my teeth or if I had a big white head on my face.

What in the world? I have medium/long hair and I have baby hairs and I pull mine up. I have lots of coworkers with short hair and they pull theirs back. I have never even noticed baby hairs or anything.
I have long hair and will always have shorter hairs around the back of my neck that fall out of a pony tail. I would never shave my neck! That’s only expected for men. Nobody cares on ladies. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable.

When my hair was super short my stylist would trim my neck when I got it cut but I never did it in between cuts.
If it’s never bothered you then don’t change it.
O well, I guess diff people have diff standards for grooming. I have chin hair and actively keep myself clean. Makes me feel better/look sharper.
Haha yeah these things are not the same. I also have what my husband affectionately refers to as my beard that I keep cleaned up. But the peach fuzz type hair on the back of my neck? I don’t know that I would have been able to refrain myself from saying something right back - like what is wrong with you calling someone out about that.
Someone also said they’d want to be called out on this same as something in your teeth- completely different story there too
