Bro. No tip. STOP
Girl you are way overpaying for laser..
I’m getting underarms, stomach, full legs !
Laser needs tipping too??? I refuse.
I have never tipped for laser hair removal.
I’ve spent about $2,500 on LHR over time and I’ve tipped about 10% when you average it out. I buy multiple sessions at a time in a package and then have appointments every 6 weeks, so I usually tip when I have to buy more sessions and don’t tip when I’m just there for a pre-paid session. It all shakes out.
I mostly tip because I get so much of myself lasered and that includes an extended Brazilian. I probably wouldn’t tip if that area of my body wasn’t included, because the medspa I go to doesn’t loudly encourage tipping (you have to know to ask the desk for your provider’s Venmo QR code or you’d never know tipping was even an option) and the staff seem happy enough that I’m guessing they’re paid fairly. It’s not an in-your-face tipping culture at all there. I just feel like it’s a good idea to be in the good graces of the woman shooting lasers up my… all of me 😅😅😅
I have no advice, but have the same conundrum - the aestheticians’ Venmos are right at the front desk when you sign in, so it is clearly expected to tip! I usually give $30 per session - feels high considering the sessions only last 15 mins, but oh well.
My husband doesn't tip bc the place he goes doesn't accept tips.
