I honestly get the poster. If you cold call someone about a position you better be prepared to sell that position. Sure, labor market isn't what it used to be, but when you reach out to someone it's common sense to actually be prepared.

I lean towards agreeing with the poster. They are absolutely right, interviews must be conversations. When you treat the candidate like they are in a press conference you learn nothing about them. Plus you have to be ready to share about the role and the company to gain their interest.

From last 40-50 day's; I get call from HR ...
.they asked whether they can schedule interview on Wednesday....i said Yes.

But somehow I get schedule cancellation e-mail on or before Tuesday & the process continues from last 1.5 months

Does anyone think it’s a good idea to beg for a job and put your personal life out there to get sympathy, because that is what I am seeing every day on LinkedIn and then the recruiters and everybody will comment and send the jobs and they will end up with a job or interview the next day.
