Love being a CNA after experiencing how some of the RN’s in LTC abuse their power with their residence made me hate LTC. I was at a facility that doesnt allow their residents out their rooms, feeders are literally given 10 min. then their trays taken, those that can voice need for restroom are told “use ur brief”, witnessed 3 residence say “I’m not ready for bed (6:30-7 pm)” only for the nurse to silent night them. This was supposed to be a great facility smh

I work in healthcare administration but was a medic for years. You learn so much about innovation but seems like most health systems just want people to fall in line and just do what's always been done.
