M&A Integration role - I have cleared pre-screen and round 1 with the hiring manager. The hiring manager (COO) has progressed me to the next two rounds with two functional areas (Corp Dev and Bus Ops). The interviews are back-to-back, each with a senior leader + 1 peer member that this person will be working closely with. Is it typical to have two interviews back-to-back (round 3/4)? Does that mean they want to get to a decision quick in either direction?
Any advice?

Back-to-back interviews are more about scheduling availability of senior leaders than anything else. Also, they may have other candidates they are interviewing and are trying to manage their timelines. If the scheduling of the interviews works for you, I wouldn’t read too much into it and focus on doing your best! Congrats on making this far - now do your best to bag the role .

Thanks EM1. 🤞

We used to do a superday format with four b2b interviews and a group case. It was brutal - you had to stick the landing on all of them. Most people do fine in the behavioral portion so the technical case interview were a real differentiator.

Our campus hires now do 2 cases and one behavioral. All 45min. All back to back.
