Dear Amdocs Hiring Team, Thanks for the worst experience. You guys took almost 2 months for hiring process, asked for all the documents, even shared the CTC breakup over email and at last after multiple follow ups over calls and emails, you replied by stating that "Unfortunately , we are not moving ahead with your candidature at moment." When I asked the reason, you are clueless till now what to say? You guys even don't have enough courage to respond my calls. #Amdocs #Hiring

I shouldn't just suck it up for 18 months and then reassess?
Yup before you get involved more n more do it right now
big 4 are all the same. If you can't make it work at 2 of the 4, this might not be the right job for you OP
Thanks SM!
Big firm to big firm, and I'm great on the project it's cool, just that it seems like I may not get to do some things in the job aid that I was excited to do.
OP- you can check options , but you need to be careful as some times short gigs doesn't look good at your resume..,if you are not currently suffering , I would think you should give it a chance a few more months
Thanks FC, I think I may. It was a great jump so I think I may stick it out a respectable time. 12-18 more months?
Grow up, nomfirm is perfect, the job is what you make it
Do you mind if I take a few moments to collect my thoughts? *Turns paper sideways*
Assess options now then make a decision. Work out if what you've experienced over first bit is representative of what you will get over the next year or so as well. Don't know many people who get their dream project on the first go around.
Op - did you move from one big 4 to another ? Or industry ?
Sounds like OP is doing pretty good; but just doing some fine tuning!
It's nothing to do with the firm, love the firm. Just got a bit discouraged that some things on job aid aren't going to be in my reach for quite some time. I thought it would be strategy formulation and implementation. But looks like solely implementation.
Stay for at least one full performance year. You'll get the bump/bonus and feedback to know where you stand. You will also have a better since of your ability to ask for (and get) what you signed up for.
