What are your stats and profile? If you’re a McK BA and getting rejected at Yale and Kellogg there is probably something off in your application or approach

Pretty much same results for me, except exchange Darden with Kellog. And this year in general has been tough for consultants.
After a decade of experience in Admissions, I can see two possible issues, One is the GMAT score, but the other is possibly how you differentiate your candidacy from every other consultant trying to go back to b-school. The profile you share is good, but how is it different than your peers who are also applying? High layoff years are typically big years for MBA apps, so competition may be fierce. Also, share how you could add value and contribute to the cohort/program.
May I ask what was your GRE Score?
I will reapply rather than go across the country for a university I have lukewarm feelings about. My weakness is the GRE which I plan to retake over before decisions come out in May. I applied to MBA programs in R3. If it goes south, I am applying R1. I am considering MBA/JD at Wharton/Carey but I do not like they do not let applicants apply separately.
