Anyone hiring for a Marketing Analyst position?
I am currently interviewing at TikTok for the Content Partnerships Lead role. Can anyone share some insight into the salary bands in the Sub-Saharan African market? Should I benchmark with the global rates?
Any tips and experiences interviewing in this region are also welcome - and highly appreciated! :)

Nice try Wonka, gonna have to pay me before I start shelling out advice. But seriously, option 3 seems like a no brainer. The branded buses create visibility, you're still able to distribute the 5,000,000 samples and do so in a more targeted fashion than just bombarding the city with them. I do like the Zeppelin option, but so many would inevitably end up as litter instead of making it into the hands of your audience that it's not nearly as good of an option. Not to mention the potential PR hit from all the littering.
Would need more details on the method of distribution and target audience for option 2, but probably Option 3.
1 has the PR element but are there 10 American cities that have enough day-to-day walking traffic to make it worthwhile? Also it’s a huge behavior lift to get someone to put something from the ground in their mouth.
Option 3 probably comes with brand ambassadors and ability to do culturally relevant mini-events, unless they’re public buses in which case, scrap this and bank it all on paid social and in-store display, which is probably what my VP will make me do anyway.
Sounds like someone’s trying to get some free work done… 😂
But I’d go with #1
Definitely option 3
I think I like #5 just because it has the potential to penetrate deeper, but this is going to need influencers, socials, PR, digital, and more.
Only Option 3 enables opt-in. Only People who are interested get the sample. The other options emphasize a “spray and pray” approach.
Guerrilla takeover of ten key cities for sure. Pay to have influencers in the city by “happenstance”. Follow up with aggressive TV and OOH
I would choose the third option, because I see a lot of logistical problems with #1 that could potentially make it an environmental and PR disaster. But I would choose cities that have a different mode of transportation like a Trolley, Tram, Ferry or Cable Car to brand. Also instead of transportation, I would make a pop up art installation with the wallpaper and give out the samples to taste.
Resign… because I don’t believe in the product … could NEVER be passionate about that product … so would not interest me to sell it …
