Is Tokyo doable as a solo traveler with zero knowledge of the language? Thinking of doing a group trip there but adding on a few days alone in Tokyo at the beginning. I’m pretty well traveled in general and do just fine alone, but a different alphabet certainly makes things harder (if translations aren’t common). Female if that makes a difference.

I was hired into this position in March, having been the first employee in this department. P.s. I don’t know what industry SVP works in, but it sure isn’t finance or accounting because he doesn’t seem to understand the concept that large term loans can be (and usually are) settled by the issuance of a new loan.

Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes.
