What makes you think no one reads your research? As someone involved with academia, I research online every day and have been able to read other people's contributions. What area are you in? Maybe this has something to do with how you're feeling.
Heyy I read that stuff! Don't speak for everyone lol
Because the people that do read it will do so with care, attention, and the desire to learn something new or become inspired
The point of all this research is to further our understanding of the world around us and to help improve the lives of others! Even if nobody ever reads it (which is false, someone will read it eventually), the research itself is still valuable.
But someone will actually read it! That's part of the magic of research: it's infinite. Someday someone will want to expand the area of your research even further and will use yours as a reference, and then someone else after him, and so on. All that text you think now that no one will read tomorrow will inspire someone else to ask questions and hypothesize.
We do read it and use it to make recommendations for medical doctors on care here!
