Bain & Company Hi there! I'm looking to connect, and hopefully receive a referral for the Bain Associate Consultant Intern program in a SEA office. Happy to connect further, perhaps jump into a short call, for you to learn more about me and determine whether I'm a good fit. Thank you and really appreciate it! Bain & Company

Clean and quiet is the opposite of brighton, head to Brookline
Brookline is great, near Coolidge Corner ideally
You can get really away from the colleges if you go southwest: Jamaica Plain, Roslindale, West Rox, Hyde Park. But beyond jp, it’s hard to get downtown from those places.
Most neighborhoods in the downtown area: back bay south end beacon hil north end should be not dominated by college students.
Parts of a Dorchester on the red line will give you that too.
How old are you?
Eh, I usually go to the airport at 5-6 AM and it takes me 20-30 mins max. But getting downtown requires roughly 45 mins in rush hour
Malden
I love living in Brookline! Coolidge corner has a great neighborhood feel with lots of great shops and restaurants and the traders joes is the best! Hop on the T for 10 min and you're back in Boston.
Yes, to clarify I meant ~10 minutes from where I live which is close to St.marys to the office in back bay :) definitely further out if you need to go to the financial district!!
All of Boston is (by definition) “college-y”.
But Brighton is fine. I’d recommend being as close to the T as you can be.
Based on what you said, recommendations:
City: Back Bay, South End (north of Wash)
Suburbs Lite: Charlestown, Somerville
Brighton is mix of college, recent grads and working class families
It’s great. About a 20 mins give or take ride to the airport. Cheap eats, cheaper rent compared to rest of Boston considering the time you’re local.
Cambridge/Somerville! imo, best cities to live in (aside from being in Boston south end/back bay). Both are good for post-grads, there’s good restaurants, lots of bars and local breweries and access to the T
Brighton is collegy but close to the city, Brookline, Watertown, South Boston are good options as well
I live in Medford/Somerville area and love it! Close to the airport and near the T.
