Moving to LA in the summer for work and seeking neighborhood recommendations!
I will have a car and will need to go to Century City three times a week. A few years ago I lived in Brentwood and loved it because it felt pretty walkable. Are there similar neighborhoods like that? Budget is probably around 3k for a 1B1B. Thanks!

Just got offered a job at a small biotech in London (UK). ~£45k plus bonus but only 1YR FTC and no equity.

Pretty sure it's a discovery role too.

I just finished my PhD at a very good uni with 3 years technician experience before that. BSc and MSc also at very good unis with good grades.

I think this offer is well below par, but curious to hear what you guys think/if you have any comparisons?

At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). I’m underpaid at $53000 with $3500 cap per quarter.

Wife found out today that the Schedule A fed position she was hired into (and has been doing for year) was misappropriated to her because she didn’t meet the certs on USA Jobs and her permanent position is now a temporary one that will end in 10 months…..I’m flabbergasted and disgusted by the hiring agency, any know of resources (legal or otherwise) for fed employees in the weird situation?

Unlike all of my classmates, I never landed an internship/externship in law school - had only one interview. I was a PT law student, came from a CS background, and worked in IT throughout law school.
