My husband is going to be pursuing a PhD outside of the country. We need my income. Do you have any advice for finding attorney jobs that will allow you to work remotely from another country?

Definitely focus on firms that already have an office in the country you’re looking to move to - otherwise the tax implications and business registration issues are more than what most firms will consider dealing with.

We currently are considering Mexico City or somewhere in Spain. I’m barred in California and Oregon. I’m considering getting barred in New York as well because New York firms seem to have more international offices and the time difference is less dramatic.

Do you consider working with Axiom or similar companies, I have a few friends got very good placements with them while working remotely.

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?

Does anyone know the billing requirement for Stockwell, Harris, Woolverton & Helphrey in LOS angeles?

I am looking for a new job at the end of a long career. I have excellent experience in IP and Supply Chain Management. I've been fortunate to be in a high-paying position in the Los Angeles area and I rarely see comparable positions posted. The comparable positions at my company are filled by one of the big executive search firms. Any recommendations for finding the rare executive-level legal positions or for landing on the radar of the big executive search firms would be much appreciated!

I need some career advice. I finished my master's degree in international law (B.A.Sc international relations) but I am not sure where to go from here. I always wanted to join a big firm and I've applied to different vacancies in international firms/companies but got rejected from all of them.
Does anyone have any tips on certain job positions or companies where an LLM would prove to be useful with my background?
I'm starting to feel quite stuck in this situation and it's very demoralising.
