I live in the Sterling at Regent Square (just moved in at the end of September) and it has been great. Close to everything and the property management is excellent; not to mention the property itself is beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Hello fellow Sterling resident
I’m looking at some new apartment developments (built in 2020 or newer) on West Dallas or West Gray Street in Upper Kirby/River Oaks. The rents vary greatly based on amenities, square feet, etc. I’ve narrowed it down to The Sterling at Regent Square (most expensive overall), Alta River Oaks, and The Driscoll. If you don’t mind a slightly older development, then 2900 West Dallas (built 2013) is another good option too.

To be fair everywhere charges you for parking. The question is whether it’s a separate line item or just lumped in with rent.
Heights. Just moved to Modera Washington on Washington Ave. Quite happy and cant beat the location
What part of town? That’s the biggest question.
Hmm… Memorial, River Oaks
I recommend that area. I was over there last year, but had to move. I moved towards the Southwest off the 8 Beltway in September. I’m already looking at moving back to that area because 1) it’s closer to my new job and 2) there’s way too much crime in this area. I know crime is everywhere, but when it gets to a point where I avoid getting a car because of the area, that’s an issue. I’m not as comfortable here compared to where I lived before.
My zip code last year was 77024. I’m not sure where your office is, but I’m looking at Ascension on the Bayou. It’s 6 minutes from my office.

Is the Galleria area safe these days?
7 Riverway…on N Post Oak at Woodway.
Have lived here 10+ years…like any place, it has its idiosyncrasies (on-site management is useless), but the apartments are larger if you own “house-sized” furniture and it’s pet friendly with ample green space out front and in back between the building and the Omni hotel.
We live at Reverie at River Hallow and love it.
What’s your budget?
Mine
The Susanne in Montrose has been a great location for me.
