My little sister is in college and wants to start working but it’s hard for her to land a job due to the job market. A lot of people that are senior her age are taking the fast food/retail job. Any advice on how she can land a job with no experience?

The job market is definitely rough. I recommend calling local places to see if they are hiring. That can be a good way to gather leads.

It’s pretty hit or miss with that nowadays especially since a lot of managers will just brush you off and say “apply online”

What type of job is she looking for and what is she in school for?

She is in school for finance and business but she is looking for any job just to have some money in her pocket. She finally got an interview at a restaurant.. so I’m hoping she will get the job.

Yes, she’s going to have to take a fast food job. She doesn’t have any relevant experience or internship ls completed. That’s where most of us have to start. Retail jobs are getting harder to find so fast food is pretty much one of the only places that hire people with no experience.

I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.

Hi Folks,

I've got a job offer from a small IT company. But before releasing the offer letter, they want me to accept a terms and conditions form which has this 10th point as shown in picture. It states failing to join them will result in paying 2 months of salary that's around 130000 rs.

Is it for real? If I get a better offer somewhere else ane don't join them, will I really have to pay this to them? Please help friends. What should I do?

I am an email marketing specialist. I am approaching my one year at my new job. I have been going above & beyond. I have been recognized by my boss that I have been doing great as well. I have been implementing new strategies, completing all assignments on time, and I do the most in all of our meetings, interviews and business events. How much can I ask for a raise?

Hello,
I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.
