Hi Sharks, I am asked to sign the offer letter. It's kind of an agreement between me and the company for accepting the offer and compensation numbers. Of course It doesn't have statments like I have to join the company on signing this. My question is that 1. If I get a better offer can I go and ask them to revise the offer? 2. Can I decide not to join the company? Will there be any legal consequences? Have you ever been asked to sign the offer? Boeing Tata Consultancy Wipro Capgemini Cognizant

Good idea, I’ll look on lexis
Also depending on the issues she raised to them, she could get a cut of whatever they are fined
If there are fraud and abuse issues at play then find a firm that does qui tam suits. One recommendation that I have is Frier Levitt since they’re a national healthcare boutique - we use them as outside counsel and their fees aren’t too bad and they are good attorneys, especially in healthcare/life sciences.
She raised the legal issue internally several times in writing and verbally before she was let go. She was in a senior management position
