Can you specifically identify why you feel like you are failing? I can understand the want to always push and do better, but you also have to let yourself enjoy the wins and doing well.
That makes sense. Big disconnect when everything looks good, but doesn’t necessarily feel good. Hoping you can take a break, or lessen the load, and put together a long-term plan. For me, and it’ll be different for everybody, when I started to talk to my boss about the unsustainable work, it was a step forward.
What is making you feel like you're failing? Is it something that other people are specifically doing, or is it your own feelings of inadequacy? You can't really work yourself out of the mindset; you have to address it head-on. Therapy really helped me with that.
You and I are very similar in that way. I'm extremely self-critical, and it was wearing on my mental health pretty badly. Hopefully, you're able to find some therapeutic skills that help you!

I depends what metrics you have set for yourself where you see yourself failing. If your job is taking your peace away, you can reconsider your choice.

Absolutely, peace of mind should definitely be a priority.

I hope you are taking care of your mental state more than anything. Work is not the most important thing if you feel like you are failing mentally. You can always shift your reality into more of a positive mindset and seek help if needed. Best of luck to you.

We are often our biggest critics.
If you are hitting your goals, and reaching your metrics, it sounds like you are doing OK.
The key question is probably WHY do you feel that way? If the job is affecting your mental or physical health, perhaps you need a different role. You have proven that you excell at this role. So you would certainly do well in a less harmful role.
