My performance review today, revealed for me, that the job I was hired for and the job I do day-to-day have drifted so far apart that I have no idea what I'm doing here and neither does leadership.

Primary goals achieved? Creative Director work, as outlined in the job listing.
Primary growth areas? Individual contributor work. That, and apparently I gave unsolicited advice to another creative.

1. Should I ask for Senior Mgr (AD) grade - to which they have already said NO

A campaign my partner and I thought of went into testing, but died in the process. Same idea, concept, name and execution used on another client/ campaign just a month after, that we weren’t on.
