My school just implemented a strict no jeans policy, even on Fridays, unless we pay $5 to a charity fund. 🙄 I find it hilarious that they think a pair of dark denim prevents me from teaching Algebra 1 effectively. If they want me to dress like a corporate executive, they should probably start paying me like one. What’s the dress code like at your school?

MBA background check: do they do detailed reviews of your essays? Like check anecdotes? Some of my verb choices likely give myself a bit more strict than I deserve. Do they call other managers?

Do you add the people you interview with on LinkedIn? During some interviews I’ve had people say “add me on LinkedIn or feel free to connect” I’m waiting on next steps from HR/internal recruiters a couple places so not sure if adding will be weird.
