Leaving 😬
Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

Also don't forget about the risk of trusting the FAA during this administration
Politics is legacy media ....you need a crash course on laws , presidential elections and the way medianis used. I learned the best way to stay informed is to turn that is off...lol but I do love watching the silly scripted debates...so I get it just know it's bs usually to entertain or sway ppls minds to benefit their causes " mind games" it's trash. I remember when I was told not to watch the news is didn't for about 15 years it was great. FAA where do you live?
Is there something touristy in state you could do?
Yes Houston lol has ugly Galveston but when we vacation we call it vacation really it's an expensive week somewhere. But saved just fine. Learn to live under your means. I'm not saying don't have nice things but until your liquid sitting and making money bc of how you planned your wealth that's vacation time. N by then you won't wanna leave your beautiful home..lol
Try international. Keep looking for good flight deals and when you find one, almost everything will be cheaper there depending on the country (food, attractions, lodging/airbnbs). And honestly, sometimes you can go to Europe for a 100 bucks more per ticket than something domestic. And your savings would be more significant.
Have you explored credit card points and travel hacking that way?
