C1 undergrad in EC and role is IT. 12 yrs exp
Thanks Ey1 - need all the good luck. This is so frustrating...
Thank you P1.
Transfer to which company was denied and what was the reason for denial ?
Transfer to EY. Reason is not known yet. Received RFE on specialty occupation and it was responded few days back in PP. Came to know about the denial just now.
Just stay with your current employer for now. If EY refiles and it gets approved, then only put your papers.
Good that you haven’t put papers. Stay with you current firm and ask EY to refile.
Quick question - what was your undergraduate degree and what was the new role? Trying to see the connection to rejecting the specialty occupation by USCIS
😳good luck op
OP, could it be because of the wage?
Also do you have masters?
No issue with the wage. Wage level 3. Masters in IT.
Wait for a response from
lawyers. If it’s a filing error they will
Refile the petition if something else then you can evaluate other options
This is insane! I doubt it could be because of your undergrad EC degree!
That would suck because EC is not completely off. And there have been approvals for chemical or mechanical background. Suspecting some error from lawyers. SOC code was not the correct one matching my job responsibilities.
I’ll pray for you OP! Sending you lots of positive vibes
Thank you D3
Stay Positive OP. If it’s a filing issue, EY will refile your application and you’ll be fine. Don’t worry. Sending some positive vibes from PwC.
Good luck OP. Do update us on what the issue was.
