I’m Pakistani! If the wedding is in Pakistan itself I’d expect the events to be quite large. There’s no dress code usually unless if the family sets one, and if there is it’s usually intended for the close family / friends (eg everyone on the bride side wear x). The only thing I’d watch out for is making your body is fully covered as families have varying degrees of conservatism in Pakistan and you’d likely feel way more comfortable walking around more on the conservative side vs not — what that means is, don’t wear a sari with your stomach visible, pants at ankle length, and make sure your outfits have sleeves (half sleeves probably fine, full sleeves preferred). If the family is more conservative it may be gender separated
Mehndi - yellow and green are traditional mehndi colors, though usually any bright colors are encouraged (example : https://www.mariab.ae/products/sf-w24-08-yellow or https://www.mariab.ae/products/sf-w24-19-rust) />
Nikkah - depends on how big this event is and where it’s held… I haven’t been to a Nikkah in Pakistan but in the states it’s usually a bit more toned down if it’s a separate event from the baraat (example: https://www.mariab.ae/products/sf-w24-18-pink) />
Walima/ baraat -likely the most formal events so everyone will be very dressed up. Just may not recommend red for the baraat as usually the bride wears that color but it’s almost always very apparent on who the bride is and impossible to out stage her (example: https://www.mariab.ae/products/sf-w24-07-off-white or https://www.mariab.ae/products/sf-w24-62-pink or https://www.mariab.ae/products/sf-ef24-19-ferozi)
Thank you! This is helpful!
lol he’s a guy, so the dress code I was given is just “dress to impress” and a note that they’re not super conservative
I would also check Poshmark if you dont want to spend a lot on new outfits!
In addition to your more formal outfits, have couple of regular long dresses, pants covering ankles, and full sleeved clothes, and few scarves in your wardrobe. My roommate got married in Islamabad, and the family was not conservative at all but the roads and markets were. Overall, the experience for me was amazing! The food is just out of the world, and make sure you ask someone to help you understand the meal course because there is just a lot of food or atleast in the one I went to...
You could ask your counselee the dress code. Once I showed up to a Pakistani engagement party wearing what I was supposed to wear (I asked another guest who was a friend of mine) and turns out it was a wear all white party 😅😂

If you have the time to go a little early I'd also recommend shopping in Pakistan itself. You'd get much better prices and a greater variety
