How to get release from project in lti?
Which SPACs do people still see upside for?
I had an interview with Cognizant and then got an email from HR to fill in CIS form and also along with to send all the documents. After i send all those details i got an email saying the position went on hold and to wait until they revert.
Any idea that how much time it would take for the position to be released? They did not respond when i asked the same question.

Here's the thing, no matter what they tell you, raises will NEVER get you ahead. The very best thing you can do is start off as well as you can. That means negotiating the best starting salary.
Also, if your starting salary is 20% more, every raise should be 20% more, making it easier to keep up.
Always ask. The worst they can say is no. It's not like they're going to pull the offer if you ask for more and end up settling for their offer. And often, you can get at least a bit more from them. And if they are going to pull the offer because you tried to negotiate the starting salary, do you really want to work there? You probably dodged a bullet.
Know your worth, and don't be afraid to ask.

That is a great advice. Knowing your worth is worth a lot.
That's very solid advice. Someone told me early in my career that anything that can be negotiated should be negotiated. If you make a case that you should get more and you don't get everything you ask for, you might get some of it. So that's a win. We're often intimidated away from negotiating, but it's business, it's a normal thing to do. People will usually respect you for advocating for yourself.

Thats is right. If you were selected among other candidates, a company really wants you and you can definately ask for more money.
It gets so much easier the more you do it, too. I was practically having a nervous breakdown the very first time I decided to negotiate. Now it’s second nature, I don’t always get what I ask for, but I’m never upset. I tried!
Yes. Not being left wondering what could have happened is well worth doing it. As long as you are reasonable and respectful while asking.
