New grad 2024, tried to be ethical and turned down my Risk Assurance PwC return offer after my co-op term since I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go back. Was an absolute idiot, I should’ve at least accepted the offer first then reject it later, because I haven’t been able to secure a job since then. Campus recruitment for 2024 roles have already closed, can I try to reach out to the team I used to work in to see if I can get back in as an experienced hire?

How would you be an experienced hire with no experience? But yeah I’d reach out, you never know if someone else bailed and they have a req open

Never reject an opportunity until they give you a reason to say no

Reach back out. Word it well.

What's the worst they can say? No? It can't hurt to reach out.

like

Reach out and go to campus networking events if you can. I was in a similar situation - turned down my offer because I was planning to move to an area where we didn’t have an office because of personal reasons and then that fell through. Ended up getting an offer again the week I graduated because of a partner that was a guest speaker in one of my classes

Here is something ethical - accept the offer and stop looking. You know that if you had accepted the offer PwC would have stopped looking for something better.

Regardless, check the careers site. If there is an open position then apply. Also, call your recruiter. Most likely someone else will drop out.

Good luck.

I know I'm in the minority here (and I swear this isn't a brag) but is anyone else less stressed this busy season working from home, and finding issues focusing because of it? My work is getting done, but just very very slowly. I'm able to sleep throughout the night and not wake up early (which is a huge negative right now) and literally feel no need to stay glued to my computer as in prior years. Am I broken?
