New to freelancing here. As an AD is it common to be comping 40 pg first round creative review decks in a day? I'm wasting soooo much time decking when I could be concepting. Wish there was a clear expectation for what the ECD's expect to see first round... Is this common?

I have 9.5 yrs of experience and am currently level 62 in Microsoft. I feel I should be Senior SE in Microsoft (level 63) but when I got microsoft offer last year the HR said it is the maximum they can give. Fixed base is 28 LPA. There is an upcoming appraisal cycle in September, so I wanted to ask how much can I expect Microsoft to adjust the base salary in this appraisal cycle ( given my performance was decent) ?
