I can really use some direction. My background, I've worked 2 years in strategy and am currently coming off an exhausting year 2 in investment banking. I didn't particularly enjoy either role and am not interested in moving over to the buy-side or some monotonous FP&A role. How do Rolex waitlists work with respect to different models? Like if an AD could let me have a Sub, Exp 1 or 2, DJ, GMT, etc I would honestly take whatever is available first. Are there lists for specific models or is it sort of just one big pool?

Why would a luxury watch brand make/sell connected or smart watches? What is the business reason for it? To me it just kills the brand value. For instance I was a big fan of Montblanc but after I see their smart watch line up I instantly devalued the brand in general. Same for Tag (tag is questionable anyways), or Breitling. What is your opinion on this topic?
