Ok. Suit is good. I don’t like those fussy blouses. She’s better off with a camisole style and a necklace.
You’re apparently not the only person who loved it. In WWD - “For the first night of the Democratic National Convention, Harris wore a bespoke suit courtesy of French luxury fashion house Chloé. The tan power suit featured brown grain de poudre wool with a double breasted blazer and wide leg trousers. The custom look also came with a white crepe de chine lavaliere blouse. Search interest for Harris’ outfit went viral, becoming a breakout Google search overnight, according to Google Trends.”
The image of the blazer doesn’t look double breasted
And for those who don’t understand the expert level trolling - google Obama tan suit and then read the fine print on this suit from Chloe - the color is coconut. And google that if you don’t know. It’s fashion and a statement. No notes.
Tahari is my fave
I agree that her power suit looks phenomenal! I expect to see more women wearing them this fall and winter!
And the master class in trolling is a chefs kiss. I love her and suit more and more as the days pass.
I just discovered indochino. They have a range of fabrics and don’t break the bank
I love that she wore that tan suit. It felt like she was flipping the fashion bird to all of those reporters at Fox News and other right wing people who flipped out when Obama wore a tan suit that one time. They complained about that tan suit for months and Obama had not been seen in tan since!
Agree, love the tan suit as well as some that others have worn this political season (Oprah in the purple!). Most of us even at Exec level aren’t spending like these ladies on TV (unfortunately 🥲…).
If you haven’t tried Argent, I highly recommend for similar look. They have a wonderful lightweight, high quality wool in my colors and a few different jacket and pant styles. If you find yourself in NYC go to the SoHo location - wonderful stylist, sales people!
