Same problem and somehow we have to manage the stress and bring it down for good.
Interest. I recently was diagnosed with IBS. My bloating is so bad none of my clothes fit
I decided to invest in myself and I am using online meds with a doctor for the ozempic shot. Best decision I made. I am back in a size 4, down from a size 10, which I was very uncomfortable with. My sugar levels are back in normal range and all my stats are back in the green. My husband did it with me and he is down 35 pounds. After 50 I needed something more than deep breaths, exercise and cutting back. Helped me a lot but I know not for everyone.
Same although I think mine is perimenopause related. Curious if you’ve found something that works as I’m getting sick of buying new clothes every few mths!
Oh mine is definitely menopause related. When our bodies produce less estrogen, it changes how we process cortisol (or so I’m told), so fat shows up in weird places (like the belly).
You can also have SIBO which causes your belly to look like you are pregnant. Not being able to excrete estrogen also plays a roll. I went to a Naturopath and determined I had an overgrowth of a pathogenic bacteria that gives off an enzyme that blocks your bodies ability to excrete estrogen and when that happens it causes weight gain in the belly hips and thighs and backs of arms and destroys your metabolism.
What was is the treatment plan?
