I had my 1 to 1 with my boss on Monday, at which time I brought up the fact that I felt like I was operating above my role of Marketing Assistant and said I felt that I was doing tasks that fell in line of Marketing Manager. After an honest conversation, he said that I fit more with Marketing Associate. He said he'd like me to learn more strategic thinking and leadership skills and recommended I get involved with a local business organization. Any recommendations?

Hi, are there any Construction Project Managers/Owner’s Representatives out there? I’ve been one for 1.5 years, after being a Structural Engineer for 10 yrs. I’m so grateful I made the pivot bc I had gotten completely miserable on the engineering side and now I love my job. I also made a significant salary jump to just over $100k when I made the switch. But bc I felt underpaid most of my engineering career, I want to make sure I don’t continue to be. Am I doing good? For reference I’m 34/female.

I need some thoughts on what to ask for a starting salary. My background is ten years in tech support, and currently Lead Graphic Designer for my department with about four years of graphic design behind that. I also just finished my master's degree in Human Computer Interaction design (and was among the top in my class).
