I think you are touching on something very real, which is similar to things like Pride month. If its not authentic and year round, dont market around it. Consumers are becoming more critical every day about this
I'm grateful to have seen a lot of love and support for the LGBT community in my space but it's still male dominated and the pay gaps are alive and real.
They are, unfortunately, throwaways for many companies. One feel-good post isn’t really contributing to anything. I would like to see more companies back up that post with something *done* with it. People are absolutely being more critical, and they should be.
That is a very good way to describe it! Announcing an actual change would be an excellent way to actually be a force on the issues. Versus a random acknowledgement.

I think it may be the time they can shout about it but many place support women through their actions.
I have seen multiple companies with known gender pay gaps post about the "incredible women who make our company stronger." It is tiring, and companies need to do better about walking the talk.
